Make sure you're not killing it off using ATK.  Open ATK, long press on Super User, and put it under ignore list.  SU will only show up if you're trying to access apps which are made for root users(such as system app remover or titanium backup).  z4root is not related to SU.....uninstalling it won't cause you any problem. I clicked on the "permanent root" and it said something about running exploit but doesnt give me superuser. how long does it take to root if it is possible to root using this method?
