using the same rom as you but with the voodoo 5 or whatever.. would you recommend the one youre using>
There are pros and cons.
pros: stable, everything locks up fast and smooth, no issues of forceclose whatsoever
cons: removal of voodoo5 kernel needs little extra work(must be removed right before going back to nandroid backup)
I really love my set-up now. It feels like testing a brand new motor on an old bike. I ran quadrant benchmark and scored impressive 1900....which was 1000 scores more than what I used to have. I can definitely sense my phone has some improvement. It clicks and locks up much faster than stock kernel. I have not seen any lags while gaming......it used to freeze up on me alot, but now it never happens.
Did you flash dj05 modem yet? Did you do nandroid backup before installing super clean 0.5? Do you have stock files (
dj01DI01 modem, kernel, system files, pit files, recovery files) ready(just in case if something happens)?
