This one remind me of bookmarx. Is it posible to put boomark while u watching a movie?
Yes, you can put multiple bookmarks for each video so that you can continue watching from where you stopped after reboot.

I tested TVoutput using nokia's CA-75U tv output cable, works like a charm, uploading the youtube video. I feel it is better than omniaHD because you can actually fit to width/screen unlike omniaHD...

Loba, that is fantastic! I'm still sporting my ancient N95, but I have the TV out cable that came with it too, what a terrific undocumented feature you've shared with us. Thanks!

Loba, thank you very much for sharing your views! I have a question regarding the screen and it would be awesome if you could try it.
Does it use Pen-tile subpixels as the Nexus One? I think that it is possible to see if you make a macro photo of the screen so that you can see the sub pixel arrangement.

I have no idea, my omniaHD is unable to take such a close macro picture anyway

Do you ever have to scroll side to side to read text in the browser, or is it automatically wrapped to fit the width of the screen?

I just tried again, there's text reflow on gsmarena.com but not on gizmodo non-mobile site.

edit: For some sites, there will be auto text reflow on pinch zoom, if it doesn't text reflow, do a double tap for it to reflow. If not, most of the time I'm guessing, pinch zoom will allow text reflow to kick in

Nice! Thanks again for looking at this for me. I just wanted to make sure that Samsung didn't hack up the browser to be more iPhone-like by disabling reflow. It looks like they haven't.

Hi Loba, thank you for sharing your experinces with your Fascinate.
What I'm curious of is: Does FRING's two-way video (Skype), work on the GS.
If you have a Skype acount, did you try it?
Thanks for all your info untill now.

I just tried using my laptop. The person on the laptop will be unable to view the guy on the phone as fringe uses the back camera and it apparently freezes (on the guy's com) after a while. So yes, video camera works 50%, the guy will be able to view the guy on the com. We can only hope it will be fixed by fringe.

One other annoying thing is that despite being in silent mode, the ringing tone when making or receiving a call on fringe is annoyingly loud as it by default uses the speakerphone at the back, which is switchable to the normal speaker on the front which is still freaking loud.

Thanks Loba, it's a pity that it doesn't work correct with the front camera. Strange cause it works well with the HTC EVO i read somewhere.
Maybe indeed FRing will fix it. I hope so.
But thanks for testing.

Yea, pity it doesn't work for those who needs it. Don't keep your hopes too high since it doesn't work for some other phones which has been released for quite some time, same problem of not using front camera

How is the screen on this phone, is it made out of glass, plastic?
Any chance it being scratch resistant?

I've bought this for my Fascinate. http://cgi.ebay.com/Vikuiti-screen-protector-Samsung-I9000-Galaxy-S-/180515938618?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_MobilePhones_MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item2a0796a13a#ht_1746wt_1137

hmm, fingerprint magnet? Well, I don't think it's glass but I don't exactly have a definitive test for it (unless you tell me one that doesn't involve attempting to scratch it), it's very responsive, as good as iphone, it is the software that lags, not the screen.
