I recently received a txt msg saying thee was an update available to download.  I started downloading on sunday afternoon and it still hasn't finished.  Can I turn off my phone and restart the download?

You can try, but your phone might not reboot correctly. Pull your battery and then put it back in. Boot up your phone.

If it doesn't start up, give tech support a call. If you are rooted, flash back to DL01 with Odin, and that will fix your problem. If you are not rooted, and rebooting doesn't work call tech support or bring your phone into a VZW store before trying any of this...

Thank you for the info.  I went to the verizon store n they just pulled the battery out.  Know when I go to update my phone it errors out because it says I had a previous install that failed.  Do I know have to wait until samsung pushes the update to my phone?
