/sdcard/ is that the external or internal memory, AND other questions to use

My Fascinate has the factory installed 8 gb internal and the added 16gb sd storage memory (is the 16GB memory the "sdcard").

1. how do I view whats on the 16 GB sd memory card?
2. how do I view whats on the internal 8 Gb memory?
3. how do i transfer photos in gallery to the 16 GB memory card?
4. can i transfer photos to my PC?
(I'm trying to email 63 photos to my email address but the phone shows "Sending" for the last two days.

I'm asking because I have to do a "Master reset" on my Fascinate because its experiencing 10 MAJOR re-curring problems that Verizon says may be corrected by a Master reset.

I appreciate any expert help since the VZW reps I've talked to always provide contradictory answers.

1) Applications...'My Files' app will let you view what is on your sdcard..ie 16GB external card.
2) Verizon Fascinate only has 2GBs internal memory. Menu..Settings...SD card and phone storage... Look at bottom at internal phone storage for avail space. All apps are stored in the internal 2GBs until froyo 2.2..which will let you store apps on externall card.
3) Photos should be on the card already in /sdcard/DCIM/Camera folder..If not, move them there with My files app.
4) Plug fascinate into laptop/desktop via usb cable. Drag open annunciator bar. ( gray bar on top of screen.) Push the 'Mount' button. Fascinate sdcard will now show up on computer as an external drive. You can copy files to and from the sdcard to laptop and vice versa.
