Samsung Contacts Sync with Facebook

Ah ha, found it. Once added facebook account to the phone, go Contacts -> menu button -> Get friends, there you can import all or selected facebook accounts to contacts.

I never done this because I didnt want some of my random friends in my mobile, that would just drive me insane.

don't use the facebook application, just add your facebook account from the phone book and then sync it and chose add friends (contacts -> menu -> add friends -> facebook)

after syncing with facebook and chosing get friends, you can chose the friends you want to import into your phone book, you don't have to import everyone

and after you get those friends you can simply merge FB contacts with gmail contacts and your original phone contacts into single profiles using (link contacts)

I did this and it imported them all and I can see their fb pics under media and everything. One problem. It doesnt show their contact pic?

I was able to link facebook contacts with my phone contacts, but in some cases it kept the facebook profile name as the default name. How do I make the phone contact name the one that displays on my phone? For instance, I don't want to search for my dad by his actual name, I want to search for "Dad Cell". It worked fine for my mom when I linked her account. It seems rather arbitrary..
