Hi...Please help...before I downloaded the update, when I was plugged into the car charger or wall outlet the screen would stay on unless manually switched off.  Now, with the update, the screen times out regardless of whether I am plugged into a source or not.  Can someone please tell me how to get it back to the old way?
Thanks
Stefanie

Same screen issue with me.  Prior to 2.2 Froyo, I plug my phone into power all day at my desk and both ways for my commute.  Until now, the screen would stay on whenever plugged into power.  With  Froyo, the screen goes dark after 2 minutes when plugged into power.

Now Pandora, ESPN and all the screens I used to have active while working or driving go dark.  Looks like Google Maps & Navigation stay on though.

How can I keep the screen on when plugged into power for all apps?

I too am dealing with this issue. It is really annoying when dealing with Pandora, for instance, as I often want to give a thumbs up or down to a song, and must unlock my phone again to do so if I've exceeded the maximum time the screen can be on. Why they left this option out is beyond me. The battery is not going to run down while you're plugged in!
