I use yahoo, I receive email just fine but I sent my first email and it is stuck in the outbox.  I have tried to send it again several times but it gives me a "connection" error.  Thanks in advance.

Go to application-> Email-> Hit menu button on the far left bottom-> Account settings.
Under Server settings, go to
1. type in your user name (yourusername@yahoo.com), password, IMAP Server (imap.mail.yahoo.com), port (143), Security Type (None), IMAP Path Prefix (Optional), and hit next to continue with SMTP Server.
2. type in SMTP Server (smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com), port (587), security setting (none), check on require sign-in, username(yourusername@yahoo.com), password, and hit next.
That's all you gotta do.

If that still doesn't work out, turn the power off, take the battery out, and reboot it.  That should pretty much take care of your problem.

Well it is a bit more complicated.  I have a Yahoo account but my email address is graceg@pacbell.com.  Also, when I go to try to change the setting, it is currently set to pop3 server pop.pacbell.yahoo.com set to port 110.  It is working for incoming. I don't know where imap input is.  The outgoing is set just like you suggested with the exception of smpt.pacbell.yahoo.com.  Any other hints?  Do I really need to change the incoming settings when it is already working?

Thanks

I think your IMAP and SMTP are set for pacbell.net.  pacbell.com and pacbell.net are two different domains.  I suggest you call your carrier.

Thanks.  I will.  I actually meant pacbell.net.  I almost want to start all over, but don't know how to uninstall it.  I may just use my gmail account and have all my Yahoo mail sent to gmail.
