Odin gets stuck after flashing Cricket. How do I fix it?

I just recently flashed stock DI01 rom with odin, then I rooted and flashed to cricket. I then attempted to use *228 which completed successfully. My phone then proceeded to reboot and when it came back on, it was in airplane mode and I had no signal. Nothing would work correctly. Under about phone hardware and baseband display as unknown. Now everytime I use odin to restore to stock it hangs on modem.bin file. Is there anyway to fix this or is this phone a piece? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
