Wasn't sure what subject to use on this one.
I was having problems with my 3g not turning on and went to Verizon. They told me the phone needed to be factory reset. Once reset the phone would only boot up to the Samsung.
I had the original ed01 stock file to use with odin, so I did a load of that which made the phone work again (like when I bought it - I used the phone for several days to make sure everything was fine).
I then did a check for updates. That took several hours and several updates. The phone appeared to work properly after that.
I then started noticing that the phone wouldn't be fully charged after sitting in my desk cradle for several hours. To make a long story short, I discovered that the phone charges to 100%, the icon says that, the battery icon doesn't show charging any more, the phone starts draining the battery and when the charge drops below 100% the phone doesn't start charging again. (In the past when I left it plugged in the it would just stay at 100%.)
With the phone in the desk cradle the screen stays on and can drain the battery fairly fast. (Or if I sit and do something on the phone for a long time while the charger is plugged in, I end up with less charge then when I started.)
I have found that, if i unplug and then plug it back in, the charging will start again and start the entire cycle again of up to 100% charge, then in several minutes the charge start dropping again.
Has anyone else noticed this or have a suggestion on how to fix it?
