All,

With the fascinate I see that there is a lock screen in which you have to basically make a swipe motion connecting blocks and then I am presented with a password screen to access my phone if too much time has gone by.  How can I remove this password screen and just have the original swipe area by connecting the boxes.

Thank You!!

Thanks although I believe he is discussing the main screen that most people see.  I have that plus another screen that prompts for a password and then you move the unlock button across to the unlock button.  I want to get rid of that.

If you go to Settings and then Location and Security and scroll down there is a password screen.  I do not have a password entered there and when I turn on my phone it does not ask for a password.  I was thinking that if you have a password entered on that screen you could remove it and then see if this solves your problem.

Thanks but it says I have to put one in.  I am connected to an exchange account if that matters?

This is Fascinating...  I will try some of this when I re-load my mod because I am having trouble disabling an app that keeps giving me a PIN lock screen even though I have disabled it.  I think that the app that is doing it is 'No Lock' and I can disable the lock, but I did install and uninstall 'Lock now for free' and it may be the offender.  If anybody has any comments on this then PLEASE email me and tell me how to uninstall both of these apps so that I don't have to go back to square one and reroot my phone. Everything else is working great.  Ken

I have no password entered there, and when you turn on the phone, which does not require a password. I thought that if you have a password that is entered in this screen, you can remove and see if that solves the problem.
