Do not recieve incoming Google Talk messages

I have googled for this, and it seems that I am not the only one.
I can send messages to my girlfriend form my gtalk account, and she gets them on her HTC desire, or on gtalk in windows. But when she replies to me, or tries to message me from gtalk on her HTC desire, I am not recieveing them on my Fascinate. Any suggestions out there?

Soft reset is the same as removing your battery for a few moments. Anything in volatile memory will be lost but all your programs and contacts will remain. If you do a hard reset all your information on your main memory (not sure of the terminology for android) will be returned to the settings that you had when you first got your phone. All you programs and contacts will be gone.

A soft reset is alway worth doing to see if it resolves a problem.
