I like to use my phone's alarm as a back up in case I sleep through my clock alarm.  I cannot figure out how to turn it off until after the entire clip that I have set for my alarm has played.  The alarm is going off while the phone is in sleep mode (obviously since that is what I am also doing when it goes off).  When it goes off there are 2 icons on the screen.  One is green and one is red.  Pushing either has no effect.  Am I missing something?

That drove me crazy last weekend, when I just got my phone.  You have to kind of slide the button.  Slide the red one to the right if you're turning off the alarm, the "gray" one the left if you're snoozing.  Let me know if that works for you.

Unfortunately, the snooze did not work this morning.  Thank goodness I woke on my own still in time for my appt. this morning.
