For those of you who take a photo and then set it as your wallpaper you may notice quite a bit of distortion.  

I found the actually desktop dimensions on another site... using photoshop I cut my images to 960 wide by 800 high.   Your backgrounds will look much clearer.

Here is mine that I took on vacation this past weekend =)

Nice to know, i wish it was possible to make better wallpapers from the phone itself but its seems like it cuts so much of the image when you do. I'm thinking we need a Custom Wallpaper Topic, can you give anymore specs on the dimensions of images so someone can get a tutorial on picture editing up on here somewhere?

i thought it'll help select and cropped the size u need from any photo...as i did mine and there was no distortion.
