I had this issue also with my previous Samsung (INNOV i8510), and I could solve it using Samsung special codes
The thing is, when you try to record a video in a festival/concert/live event... music level is too high for mobile microphone sensitivity, and video is great, but audio always distorts
Solution is to enter in Service mode, using this code *#*#197328640#*#*, and then set the microhpone sensitivity when recording with minor values. I knew how to do it in my INNOV, but in the Fascinate menus are not the same, and I'm still trying to find which one is the right one to set that properly. Maybe some of you already did it, or perhaps you know another solution
