There are a lot of people are complaining about lack of Froyo problem, now it is a time to act, sign up to Fascinate demand link on Facebook and help to spread the word around on Twitter, MySpace, whatever.

i have successfully rooted and updated my firmware to froyo 2.2 now! it was realy easy once i was able to filter through all the BS on the internet. its beautiful and runs like a brand new phone! gotta love it! i will post a link to the site where you can find the easy to follow instructions to do the same if you choose to. i claim no responsibility for this link whatsoever nor to the adverse consequences you may experience should  you brick your phone. lemme just say that if I can do it, you can too!

im new to the forum and only discovered it while doing google searches for information on how to upgrade my device. this is like my second post but i would like to be a part of the discussions here on the regular so say hi sometime! also, lemme know if you are able to successfully install the update!

I downloaded the Froyo 2.2.1 from Verizon over the air.

worked just fine for me.  How long?  don't know, started it and left the room.
