It may be possible. I know there is a hidden option in the Droid that you can turn on 4G so it may be possible that some of the newer phones will support it when it rolls out with just an update.

The only way to find out is to Google it, honestly. I also signed up here for updates on 4G.

No, the Fascinate WILL NOT be capable of 4G.. ever.

It doesn't contain the next-gen GSM technology that will run Verizon's 4G network.

according to my research on the net, LTE technology requires some sort of HARDWARE upgrade.  fascinate is probably not equipped with that when samsung team up with qualcomm.  and that's also the reason why there are so many rumors floating around in regards to iphone 4G with LTE capablity.

Well, I believe it may be since the Droid phones have the option to use 4G... though it's hidden. Also, if you don't live in a big city - you may not see 4G until 2015. And more than likely, you will have a phone a million times better by then.

It's not "hidden" in any Droid phones. 4G isn't available on the Fascinate, or any other current Verizon Android devices.. none of them, it requires a SIM Card slot, like current AT&T/TMo's 3G Network, LTE is GSM based, so no, the correct and permanent answer is no. The Fascinate doesn't and never will have 4G.
